The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market is open Thursdays 3-7pm, through October 1st. It is located at the corner of Platt Rd. & Michigan Ave. in Pittsfield Township (6201 W. Michigan Ave. Ann Arbor, MI 48108).
The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market provides fun, family-friendly activities all season long, including: live music, cooking demos, face painting, scavenger hunts, Master Gardener Q&A, plant swaps & more. Stop by every Thursday and enjoy live music by local artists while having a picnic at Prairie Park, located right in the Market’s backyard!
Fall is a particularly great time to visit the Market because our farmers will not only have their bountiful summer harvest, but also many of our fall season favorites. Who doesn’t love fresh picked apples, apple cider, donuts, pumpkins and winter squash?
Chef Kristi of Grace Savory & Sweet provides fresh off the table cooking demos (with free tastings!) for Market goers. One of our favorite recipes is her Pan Roasted Squash, Apple & Kale Pasta, which is a perfect transition from summer into fall.
What you’ll find at the Market: Local seasonal produce, pasture-raised meat, garlic, dry and frozen stuffed pasta, pasta & barbeque sauces, mustard, pickles, raw honey, baked goods, chicken and duck eggs, tortillas, maple syrup, Raita savory yogurt, goat milk soap, almond & cashew butter, granola, honeycomb, succulents, and more!
Our Market accepts several food assistance benefits including: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), and Prescription for Health, to provide area families with access to healthy food choices.
This year, we will be adding two NEW Indoor Markets on October 13th and November 10th from 3:00-7:00pm at Township Hall (6201 W. Michigan Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48108). This is the same location as the regular season Market, just indoors.
