The Power to Change Things

Curious about how the concepts of business and sustainablity can co-exist? Interested in meeting local entrepreneurs and professionals exploring how to live into triple bottom line business values?

Consider joining the Southeast Michgian Sustainable Business Forum (SMSBF) on June 27th for their second annual Triple Bottom Line Forum: The Power to Change Things. This daylong conference will focus on sustainable business practices and triple-bottom-line (People-Profit-Planet) strategies while bringing together business leaders from across the region to explore the challenges and opportunities of business sustainability. There will be ample space for networking and creative idea exchange as well as a “vendor mall” featuring local businesses that create triple-bottom-line value. The event’s keynote will be delivered by Dr. Terry Link – a long-time sustainability thought leader with more that 25 years of experience helping small businesses, nonprofits, schools, and government agencies improve their social, environmental and economic performance.

Can’t attend the event? Consider joining the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum (SMSBF) at one of their smaller forum’s throughout the year. They hold space multiple times throughout the year for local stakeholders, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and goverment officials to exchange ideas and viewpoints around the topic of sustainable business practices. They strive to be a unique resource in Southeast Michigan for increasing knowlege of how sustainability principles can be applied to business and their forums are a rich environment for inspiration, learning, and collaboration.
