2020 Michigan Good Food Summit: Moving Forward with Equity and Resilience
Since 2010, people across the state and country have gathered at the Michigan Good Food Summit to network, share, reflect, and learn about good food work happening in Michigan. This year, the 2020 Michigan Good Food Summit will be a series of virtual gatherings bringing together people from across the state to celebrate achievements and launch a renewed effort to advance a good food system in Michigan that promotes equity, health, sustainability, and thriving economies.
The 2020 summit is a unique event featuring live webinars on Mondays and Wednesdays (10-11:30 AM) from October 12 to November 20. Webinar topics are broad and will appeal to youth, individuals, food systems businesses, and non-profit organizations. Current session topics include: community resilience in the face of COVID-19, food access to food sovereignty, sustainability, economic justice, youth gardening, engaging with policy makers and more!
Registration for the summit is open to everyone and includes live webinar access, recordings and digital resource materials (including a digital goodie bag!), networking opportunities, and possible CEU credits. Scholarships and flexible pricing are also available
